I've been using these post-cap lights for years, and they work just as well now as when I got them. If you lower the brightness level, the lights stay on the entire night. I was skeptical and almost had an electrician install hard-wired lights. But I didn't see why I would go through all that trouble after experiencing these lights. The internal battery is large and holds a charge. If it stops working, you can replace the battery. They also last fine through the cold North-Eastern winters.
